INFORMATION AND CONDITIONS
WHAT IS OUR DEFINATION OF A LONE PARENT?
A lone parent is a man or woman who is divorced, widowed, separated or single and who is bringing up a child below the age of 18 years alone.
NOTE: We will accept bookings from prisoners wives/husbands during the duration of imprisonment where only one parent is available to take the children on holiday. We also will accept bookings from forces wives whose husbands are abroad on active duty. We also cater for Grandparents who have custody of their Grandchildren.
ACCESS PARENT
H.E.L.P. will willingly accept bookings from access parents where the access parent has not re-married or formed a permanent live in relationship..
WHO CAN I TAKE WITH ME
H.E.L.P and its suppliers have no objection to your taking friends or relations with you so long as you take the responsibility for their behaviour. The lone parent must occupy the same unit. So do not overcrowd the unit.
BOOKNG CONDITIONS
H.E.L.P. and its suppliers will only accept block bookings from groups when they are supplied with the names and addresses of both a lead person for the group and the names and addresses of the people occupying each unit and their marital status. A separate booking form must be sent for each unit booked.
Flamingoland will only accept bookings from families, (parent and children) no teenagers can book this holiday. Haven requires you to be over 21 to book a holiday and Pontins require you to be over 18 years of age. Flamingoland stipulate over 25 years of age but in our circumstances, they realise Lone Parents can be as young as at least 17 years of age , so they will accommodate us.
H.E.L.P. and its suppliers will not accept bookings from parents who are living with a partner.
H.E.L.P. and its suppliers will not accept bookings where the child/children’s second natural parent is included.
Where a family booking through H.E.L.P. wishes to take a dog or pet on holiday with them then this will be subject to the booking condition of the holiday supplier and MUST be paid accordingly.
H.E.L.P. DOES NOT ACCEPT PETS IN ANY OF ITS CARAVANS.
MISBEHAVIOUR
H.E.L.P. and its suppliers reserve the right in our absolute discretion to terminate without notice the holiday of any holidaymaker/member whose behaviour is such that it is likely in the opinion of H.E.L.P. or its suppliers to cause distress, damage, danger or annoyance to our other holidaymakers, representatives, property or to any third party. Our suppliers conditions of booking will apply and there is no obligation upon ourselves or our suppliers to offer a refund, compensation or any costs which you or your party incur. Such misbehaviour could also affect your future eligibility to book your holiday with H.E.L.P.
H.E.L.P. will hold the lead member of your party responsible for the behaviour of all persons staying or visiting your accommodation and will not be responsible for any loss or damage caused by them. Under no circumstances must anyone stay in your accommodation other than the persons shown on your booking form, unless otherwise notified in writing to our supplier prior to the commencement of your holiday.
Under no circumstances are you entitled to sub let your accommodation to anyone.
Where a lone parent books a H.E.L.P. holiday for themselves and their children, they must accompany their children on the holiday and must not leave the children on site alone. DO NOT ASK THE ON-SITE H.E.L.P. VOLUNTEER TO BABYSIT
Accommodation must not be overcrowded. No more people than the accommodation stated capacity will be allowed to stay in any unit.
H.E.L.P. reserves the right to refuse or cancel bookings where they reasonably suspect that booking conditions or rule on eligibility are not being adhered to.
